Rehearsals and plans for the Really Big Sing in Newmarket are well under way BUT you shouldn’t feel that you have missed the opportunity to be part of it.

Just turn up on a Tuesday evening, 7pm at Palace House and you’ll see where we are with our plans!

The community choir is at the heart of one of the biggest events that Newmarket will have ever seen.

The Really Big Sing will be taking place on Newmarket racecourse and will pull everyone together to make some noise! You can be a part of it too!

Community Choir Now Meets Weekly!

From Tuesday 8th January 2013, the Newmarket Community Choir now meet weekly.

We’re still at our normal place and time;

Palace Street,
Newmarket
Suffolk
CB8 8EP

Tuesday nights, 7pm to 8:30pm.

We hope that this will give people more opportunity to join us.

Community Choir Host Carol Concert

Newmarket Community Choir is holding its first Christmas concert in aid of Newmarket Open Door.

It will be held at The Stable in High Street on Tuesday, December 4, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from Open Door in Craven Way.

New Director of Newmarket Community Choir

Robert Cross is the new director of the Newmarket Community Choir.

The former head chorister of Ely Cathedral spent time living in New Zealand and in London where he sang as a deputy lay clerk in St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and at the Tower of London, as well as doing solo work in and around the capital.

The choir meets tonight at 7pm at Palace House and from then fortnightly on Tuesdays, the first meeting being on May 1.
